Listen to the Show

On Saturday September 9th The Joan Kenley Show premiered on KQKE 960 AM – “The Quake”, San Francisco’s home of Air America Radio.

For the opening show, Peter B. Collins – a mentor and senior member of the production team – interviews Joan with humor, interest, and sensitivity. They have a lively exchange about launching The Joan Kenley Show and branding the format as ‘Conversation Radio’.

You’ll hear why Joan was invited into in the San Francisco market – and how The Joan Kenley Show is new and different for radio listeners.

This introductory show contains excerpts from three of her programs over the last six months:

-Alternative Pet Care -

Jenny Taylor, DVM has a wealth of background and advanced training in her career as a veterinarian. She founded Creature Comfort Holistic Veterinary Center in Oakland, California — the first complementary veterinary clinic in the Bay Area. Her clinic offers Chinese and Western herbal therapies, acupuncture, homeopathy, and chiropractic — in addition to traditional Western veterinary medicine. She was the featured veterinarian and host of the DVD version of ”Dogs for Dummies”. Contact information is Creature Comforts at 510-530-1373 or www.creaturecomfort.com

Rebecca Thomas, EBW is a certified equine body worker in the Bay Area. Her practice includes backyard pets, trail horses, endurance racers and high-end show horses. Working with vets and individual owners, she handles injury recovery, physical therapy, arthritis, and general maintenance for the equine/canine performers, dogs, cats and birds. Massage is never a replacement for veterinarian care, but an important adjunct for healing and performance. To reach Rebecca, go to www.equinebodywork.net, rebecca@equinebodywork.net or call 510-304-1890.

Heidi Kistler was inspired by her love of animals to start her pet sitting business nine years ago, The Pawsitively Pampered Pet.  Within the first two years she was awarded Pet Sitter of the Year by the Pet Sitting International organization.  With the success of her business, and with the help of her clients, she has recently planned and presented charity events that raise money for needy mothers and children.  For more information go to www.yourpamperedpets.com
