Listen to the Show

Hear from Supervisor Nate Miley and co-host, Barry Kendall – Executive Director of the Commonweal Institute – about lively issues during this “Can Do” political conversation. Our position is that a positive attitude with aggressive political strategies can influence solutions for the economy, housing foreclosures, oil prices, healthcare, and greening the environment. We’ll be addressing these subjects and more. You’ll hear about:

  • the key role Supervisors play in serving their communities
  • basic central values that drive pro-active political leaders
  • whether we can hope for fair elections in the future
  • how the media shapes and influences the political scene
  • getting involved in green consciousness
  • how the war has taken money from civil, community, and educational needs
