With all that is taking place on the world stage today – ISIS, the Syrian refugee crisis, the deadly unrest between Ukraine and Russia, we ask: How can women change the world? What do women see as their role? How do we put a positive light on feminism and women's activism? When we talk about forefathers in America, why aren't we also talking about our foremothers? Our guests – three internationally known women – delve into these questions and more: Jean Shinoda Bolen, Isabel Allende, and Justine Toms. You'll hear:

  • how women are central in creating community, accountability, and integrity
  • what Jean Bolen's book, "Urgent Message from Mother," means for everyone
  • why Isabel Allende creates her female heroines based on real women
  • how Justine Tom's global broadcasts address "the history of the future"
  • the ways women are dealing with the effects of patriarchy and hierarchy
