Valentine's Day – while fun for many – can be stressful for others who may be measuring themselves and their relationships against unrealistic expectations set by Hollywood and Hallmark. So, let’s go beyond what’s possibly seen as a commercial view of Valentine love and remember Tina Turner’s famous song, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” which proclaims: “Love is not a second-hand emotion.” What does it take to keep love alive and have a relationship not only last, but flourish? We'll delve into the challenges of love and offer ways to promote relationship richness and rewards. You’ll hear:

  • that difficult times can be transformed into deeper love

  • well-tested ideas for singles who want to find the right relationship

  • why past experiences impact how we perceive our partner

  • the reason commitment is so integral to relationship

  • what emotional infidelity is and isn’t – and why it’s important to know the difference
